Bay Area's 5th Annual Firkin Gravity Festival begins Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at 11am, and is presented by Triple Rock Brewery & Alehouse in Berkeley, CA.
Bay Area's 5th Annual Firkin Gravity Festival takes place Saturday, April 5th, 2008 and is hosted by Triple Rock Brewery & Alehouse in Berkeley, CA. Unlike any other in North America, this year's festival features twenty-five to thirty breweries which will showcase different styles of beer ranging from classic English style Bitters to triple IPA's. Triple Rock's Firkin will be Reindeer Ale.(Our hoppy Christmas Beer) Participating breweries include: Bison, Beach Chalet, Moylans, Sierra Nevada, Marin, English Ales, 21st Amendment, Magnolia, Thirsty Bear, Drakes, Stone, Schooner's, Anderson Valley, Half Moon Bay, Russian River, Iron Springs, Two Rivers, Speakeasy, Rubicon, & more
Festival proceeds will be donated to the Alisa Anne Rusch Burn Foundation which supports burn victims and their families in the Bay Area. Their website is: http://www.aarbf.org
Admission price for the General Public will be $20.00 which includes a logo glass and 5 tasting tickets; plus, a wooden token for a full pour We will be offering additional tasting tickets for a nominal fee.of: $1.00 per taste or $5.00 for six tasting tickets. Usually about half of the styles will run out before the end of the afternoon. The doors of Triple Rock will open at 11a.m. with the festival shutting down by 6ish p.m.
